This 3-week course is perfect for the beginner, refreshers or improvers new to dressmaking. I will teach you many different disciplines in dressmaking to start or continue on your sewing journey. In the first week you will learn to cut out the fabric to make a child’s wrap dress. You will learn dressmaking terminology, sew seams, learn how to evenly gather fabric, apply bodice lining, understitch, and hem the garment all with a professional finish.

The dress will be suitable for 2-8 years. If you need any tips for measuring, please pop into the shop.

Fabric is not included in the cost of this course but you can choose from a huge range of cotton fabrics in the shop.
